You must have at least six months accounting or bookkeeping experience or have completed a relevant academic qualification in bookkeeping. Relevant academic qualifications include:
- The Career Academy Certificate in Bookkeeping
- An AAT Bookkeeping Qualification
- Diploma in Business (1-year full time study) from any Polytechnic or PTE in New Zealand
- Bachelor of Business from any University or Polytechnic in New Zealand
- Any equivalent accounting or bookkeeping qualification
