Meet our speaker, Melanie Morris!
Mel is the Xero Partner Community Manager in New Zealand, responsible for the Xero Partner Advisory Council and maintaining strong industry connections. Prior to this Mel was most recently NZ Head of Bookkeeping and has worked for Xero in multiple roles since 2008.
Additionally, Mel founded two successful businesses – Bookkeeping & Beyond and Training & Beyond and is the founder of ICNZB. She also has extensive governance and chair experience including, The Bookkeepers Association, Lyttelton Primary School, Royal New Zealand Ballet Foundation and Te Puna Wai O Waipapa/ Hagley College.
Outside work Mel is a qualified Yoga Therapist and Yoga Teacher, and is studying psychology. Mel also enjoys gardening and spending time with her family and 2 dogs.
